We enable students to distinguish right from wrong and to respect the civil and criminal law of England.
We encourage respect for other people; and we encourage respect for democracy and support for participation in the democratic processes, including respect for the basis on which the law is made and applied in England.

Democracy/British values
At St Katherine's we strongly promote democracy and opportunity for all. We have democratically voted in House Captains, School Council members & Eco Council.
We also encourage students to voice their opinions in a fair and democratic way. An example of this is taking part in the yearly Mayors debate at Tonbridge & Malling Council.
