On Saturday we held our annual Christmas Fair. Once again it was an excellent and exciting affair, with lots of stalls to visit. The School Council ran a Biscuit Decorating Stall and the Parents Association ran a wide variety of stalls, including a 'Guess the Weight of the Christmas Cake,' a Tombola, Cake stall, 'Guess the owner of the Christmas Stocking and a raffle stall with lots of excellent prizes, kindly donated by local businesses and individuals. The children also enjoyed visiting the various craft stalls which were available - such as face painting, nail art, tattoos, etc. The Secrets Room proved to be as popular as ever, with the children taking advantage of the opportunity to get their parents' Christmas gifts nicely wrapped. Of course, for many , the highlight of the afternoon was a visit to Santa in his fabulous Grotto! A very busy afternoon for everyone, little wonder that many people took advantage of the excellent turkey rolls and mince pies on offer. Mrs Stephanie McBryne, Chair of the Parents' Association, drew the raffle at the end of the afternoon and thanked every one for coming and especially the parents and staff who helped out on the day. Well done to everyone involved!
