This week we have been learning about animals that live in the Arctic and Antarctic and making comparisons. The Children made comparisons of size shape and environment. The children have  enjoyed watching zoo live cams. They particularly liked the polar bears at San Diego zoo, although they were often sleeping when we watched them at snack time! We had some frogspawn donated to us and we were able to observe them hatching into tadpoles. They were then placed in the pond we created in the Sensory Garden. We will be watching them as they change into froglets over the next few weeks. The children arrived at school on Friday in fantastic costumes for Red Nose Day. We had lots of fun and silliness, such as telling jokes, making silly faces using paper plates and reading the story of Mr Silly.
