Acorn class have been reading a book called 'Once there were giants'. We have been discussing the human life cycle, talking about the different things we learn to do, as we grow up and the differences in our appearance, as we grow older.
For the first time since our return to Acorn class we have introduced 'dough disco' and 'write dance', activities that we really enjoy to music. These activites help us to develop our fine and gross motor skills, building up our muscles to help with our writing development.
We have had fun with matching in our maths learning, using objects to identify similiarities and differences. Recognising differences such as colour and size. Try finding matching objects around your home.
Our marble jar is nearly halfway full and we counted out 21 marbles so far.
