Our houses are named after the four elements.

Earth, Fire, Water and Air.

Each of the four houses are an important part of our school, and we have had the same house names for many years. 

Every child at St Katherine’s School & Nursery is a member of one of our four houses: Earth, Fire, Water and Air.

We take great pride in our houses and have children in Year 6 who are House Captains.  We can earn dojo points for showing our school values of respect, resilience, responsibility, compassion and community. 

We wear coloured t-shirts during sporting activities and PE lessons to represent each house.

Earth is green; Fire is red; Water is blue and Air is yellow.

 

Sports Day 2025

It was double success for Air (KS1) and Air (KS2), who were crowned this this year’s House winners for our sports days. I was also incredibly impressed with the volume of friends and families that turned out to support the children. It really did make it a special event for the school.
